We advise you arrive early on Thursday 11 June for the breakfast sessions so we can start promptly at 8:30am. 

Beat the queues: If you have registered on the NHS and wider public sector rate, you will have been sent a name badge to print at home/work. By printing your badge before you arrive, you can beat the morning queues and go through our fast-track lane, for speedy access to the venue.

Handy tip: If you need to collect your badge from the venue, our registration desks will be open from 1:00pm – 6:00pm on Tuesday 9 June. If you are in Manchester, why not pop into the venue and pick up your badge early? This will allow you access to the fast-track entrance on the first day of the conference.

Not yet registered? You can still register when you arrive at Manchester Central, but please allow extra time during peak arrival periods.

• Security  - Our attendees' safety is of the utmost importance to us and to ensure an enjoyable experience there are safety and emergency procedures in place. Bag searches will be in operation and your bag will be checked by security staff at the entrance to Manchester Central each time you enter the building. To help keep the queues moving swiftly, please try to avoid bringing large bags or luggage with you to the venue.
   
• Name badges - For security reasons, please wear your badge at all times. If there are any problems with your badge please see a member of registration staff. NHS ConfedExpo reserves the right to invoice the appropriate fee to any persons incorrectly registered.
   
• Food and refreshments - Catering and refreshment outlets are located on the exhibition floor, offering a selection of food and drink options throughout the day.
   
• Water - Water coolers and water bottle refilling stations will be located around the venue. There will be sustainably-sourced cups available but we encourage you to bring/use a refillable bottle.
   
• Cloakroom - A cloakroom is available throughout the event on the ground floor, just outside the exhibition hall. Any member of staff will be happy to direct you.
   
• Wi-Fi - Manchester Central offers free Wi-Fi to all delegates. Simply connect when you arrive - no password needed.
   
• Social media - Join the conversation on LinkedIn by following @ConfedExpo using #NHSConfedExpo. 
   
• Photography and filming - Photographers will be taking pictures and videos in all areas of NHS ConfedExpo throughout the two days of the event. If you do not wish to appear in published photographs and film, please alert the team by visiting the help desk.
   
• Live streaming - Content from our main stages will be live streamed, so colleagues who are unable to attend in person can watch remotely.
   
• CPD certificate - The deadline to request a CPD certificate is Friday 26 June, complete this form to request a certificate. Once completed the team at CPD should process the request within 28 days. More information is available here.
   
• Sensory space and multi-faith room - The venue has a dedicated quiet space and prayer room. Please see the site maps around the venue and on the app.
   
• Information point - The general enquiries help desk is in the main entrance foyer.
   
• Event staff - All event staff will be wearing organiser badges. Please feel free to stop any of them with your queries throughout the event. There will also be event stewards who can support you with any queries too.

NHS ConfedExpo is committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all and we ask all exhibitors, attendees and contractors to help us make the conference a positive experience for everyone. Any inappropriate behaviour at the conference will not be tolerated and anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour of any kind is expected to comply immediately. The Organisers’ decision is final and they may take any action they deem appropriate up to and including requesting the attendee in question leaves the venue. If you are concerned about any behaviour please notify the Organisers’ as soon as possible in the Organisers’ Office in Central Foyer. We expect all our attendees to be considerate of each other and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to NHS ConfedExpo. Please read the full Participant Code of Conduct.

All attendees are respectfully reminded that their appearance must be suitable for a business event. NHS ConfedExpo reserves the right to deny access to anyone inappropriately dressed. Any objects or clothing bearing (as shall be determined at the organiser's reasonable discretion) political statements, objectionable or offensive statements will not be permitted.

While you are at the event, you will likely visit one or more exhibitors at their stands or attend a session sponsored by an exhibitor. By allowing your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, the exhibitor will have access to your name and contact information which you provided during this registration process in order for them to follow up with you post event.

If you do not want your details passed on, you should refrain from having your badge scanned by exhibitors.

Your badge will also be scanned at the main entrance to the event upon your arrival. This scan of your badge is for analytical and health and safety purposes only and no data is transferred to any other parties. We aim to ensure that NHS ConfedExpo is as accessible as possible and provide the following: 

• Priority seating and wheelchair access - Priority seats have been reserved in the main stages, theatres, and breakout rooms. These seats have been designated for people with a disability or mobility issue  and those who are pregnant or otherwise less able to stand. If requested by a member of the NHS ConfedExpo team, please vacate these seats. 
   
• Induction loop - Induction loops are installed throughout the event. If you have any issues connecting, please let a member of the AV team know in the theatre or room that you are in and they will endeavour to support you.

• Interact live with NHS ConfedExpo speakers using Slido - We are using Slido in the main stages and selected theatre sessions. The easiest way to access Slido is via the Live Polling and Q&A feature in the NHS ConfedExpo app. If you would like to take part in speaker Q&A and live polling without downloading the NHS ConfedExpo app, please visit the slido.com website and use the event code #NHSConfedExpo.
