Fellowship project summary: “What can we achieve with the capacity of 3 Social Prescribing Link Workers, one afternoon per week? Inspired by the Brazilian model of Community Health Workers, my project focused on the adjacent possible, in an area of high deprivation in Selby, North Yorkshire. Working with strong system partners, we used local data to take an assertive approach, and we learnt more about the local neighbourhood than ever before. What followed was a legacy which continued to this day, and the local implementation of the model that inspired us radically repurpose what we had at our fingertips."
