Vani is currently Country Managing Director & Head of Human Pharma for Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd UK & Ireland. Prior to this role, she was Country Managing Director in India and formerly the Global Head of Boehringer’s Go-To-Market and Business Steering organisation in Germany. Vani joined the company in 2011 in the USA, working across Strategy & Operations, Marketing and Sales leadership roles before moving to the Corporate Headquarters Ingelheim in 2016 as Regional Business Manager for Japan.

Vani’s global experience spans nearly two decades across McKinsey & Co., Becton Dickinson and Boehringer Ingelheim encompassing cross-functional leadership roles in Healthcare and Management Consulting. Her functional experience covers strategy, marketing, sales, business development, general management and business and cultural transformation.

Prior to embarking on her international career, she served as a commissioned officer in the Indian Army Ordnance Corps.
