Sarah Shingler
Sarah has a long career history in the NHS working as a senior clinical leader. Previously, she was Chief Nursing Officer and Deputy Chief Executive at East Kent Hospitals NHS University Foundation Trust. She has worked in a variety of director level leadership roles in both the NHS and social care. Her expertise spans nursing and quality, operations, transformation and system change in acute, community and system settings. Sarah has also led complex change programmes, such as intermediate care and urgent care redesign in Salford and Staffordshire.
Sarah is a Nurse Consultant dual trained in Emergency and Critical Care and continues to work clinically two weekends per month. She is currently undertaking a doctorate, with her research focusing on moral injury and the impact that this has had on clinical staff both during and post Covid.
