A Community Champion for Living Well for 8 years, where she started her own non-profit organisation, doing online sessions to support the community with motivation and empowerment, first aid awareness and social isolation. She then moved on to become a nursery teacher 2021 - 2023. She was successful in getting the Community Engagement Worker role at Living Well where she used contacts from her non-profit to support her role.

She supports South Asian Community to educate them about CVD - mainly hypercholesterolemia and hypertension. She also joined the CVD team at Living Well to go into community settings and groups and carry out blood pressures. She has arranged and held a few successful health events around Rochdale, allowing people to find out what CVD and general support is available for them.

She enjoys public speaking, learning, and engaging with the community and she has created a Community Influencers Forum in Rochdale to help change behaviour and thinking around CVD and produce South Asian resources to support the South Asian Community.
