Dr Mona Sidhu

Primary Care Medical Director, Black Country ICB

Dr Mona Sidhu is the Primary Care Medical Director for Black Country ICB, and a practicing GP in Wolverhampton for the last 24 years. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and General Practice. She has diplomas in Sexual health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Masters in diabetes.
She is an honorary senior lecturer at Keele University. She is a GP trainer, Mentor and Training program director. She has worked a Clinical lead for diabetes, end of life care and cancer- at place and system level. She has been a clinical director and Divisional Medical Director for Royal Wolverhampton Trust. She is passionate about delivering patient centered primary care that is the bed rock of the NHS and break down the barriers between primary, secondary and community care. She has a keen interest in promoting equality diversity and inclusion at workplace . She has worked with public health and faith groups in her community to reduce health inequalities and ensure equitable access, promoting cancer screening uptake and outcomes.
