Mandy began her career as a Therapeutic Radiographer before moving into Higher education where she became the programme leader and admissions tutor for the BSc Radiotherapy and Oncology degree at University of The West of England- Bristol. In November 2021 Mandy joined NHSE (formally HEE) in the Southwest of England as an AHP workforce fellow, exploring workforce transformation within AHP. In February 2023 Mandy joined Gloucestershire Integrated Care System as the Apprenticeship and Widening participation programme lead where her work focusses on the support and engagement of system stakeholders in developing, implementing, and sustaining apprenticeships and other career pathways into health and care sectors. She supports the careers engagement and outreach team to deliver on several initiatives aimed at promoting health and care careers to all ages of the population within Gloucestershire. Mandy is the ICS Care leaver covenant lead and has been working with partner organisations to support the implementation of the Care leavers covenant within the NHS and wider system within Gloucestershire.
