Since July 2023, Mags has been working in a system role for North East London as Director of the Adult Critical Care Operational Delivery Network. This follows many years in operational management across trusts in London and Essex, covering a range of specialties. Most recently, she worked for seven years at Homerton Healthcare in Hackney, as Divisional Operations Director for Surgery, Critical Care and Women’s and then Community and Children’s Services.

Mags has a heart for leadership development and has been involved in various aspects of the Graduate Management Training Scheme, which was her entry point into the NHS many years ago! She also enjoys mentoring and supporting people who are at different stages of their leadership journey.

Outside work, she enjoys walking, trying to keep fit and spending time with her grandchildren.
