I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in the field of neuro rehabilitation for over 25 years. I have a specialist interest in aphasia and life after stroke. I set up an aphasia peer befriending scheme to combat the loneliness and social isolation of this condition. All of my befriending volunteers have a lived experience of aphasia.
