Kath is an accomplished healthcare professional with a diverse and impactful career spanning clinical, educational, managerial, and leadership roles. As a registered general and children's nurse, she has made significant contributions to the healthcare field.
Currently serving as the Director of Children's Nursing at Barts Health, Kath plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of young patients and the effective functioning of healthcare services. Her commitment to improving healthcare extends to her role as Clinical Lead for the 0-25 Transformation Programme at the North East London Integrated Care System.
Kath's passion for education and research is evident in her position as an Academic Fellow at City University. She actively participates in shaping the future of healthcare and has a role as a Children and Young People (BCYP) Participation champion at NHS England (London).
Kath's previous national role as the Experience of Care Lead for Maternity, Babies, Children, and Young People at NHS England highlights her dedication to amplifying the voices of patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring their perspectives are integral in healthcare service design, delivery, and commissioning. Her contributions extend to her membership on the NICE Experience of Care for Babies, Children, and Young People guideline committee in 2021.
