Emma Quintal
Emma is one of the Senior Innovation Managers at Macmillan Cancer Support with a focus on strategic partnerships, building relationships with Health Innovation Networks, NHSE and innovators within the oncology space to identify solutions that address the current challenges facing people living with cancer. Emma supports the identification, implementation and scale up of innovation initiatives across Macmillan’s Cancer Support Operations, finding new transformational ways to improve outcomes for people living with cancer. Emma also leads on Macmillan’s open innovation approach, crowdsourcing internal ideas and insights and running external innovation challenges to identify new and innovative solutions within cancer care. Emma has a strong background in patient and public involvement and spent a tenure as an Engagement Lead, empowering communities across London to influence new service developments and improve existing cancer care services, with a focus on health inequalities.
