Charlie embarked on her professional career in marketing management within the FMCG sector, leveraging her skills to drive impactful strategies. Transitioning to the healthcare sector in January 2021, as the CYP Participation Lead at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. In this capacity, Charlie passionately advocated for the voices of young people and their families, encouraging collaboration to enhance CYPS services, including the development of a co-designed ICS CYPMH digital support finder. In June 2023, Charlie joined the Gloucestershire Integrated Care System as the ‘We Want You’ Outreach Project Lead, the team supports young people from local secondary schools to identify how their interests and skills are transferable to future careers in health & social care. The aim is to develop a reliable talent pipeline that will support One Glos employers in the years to come, whilst also promoting Higher Education programmes at the University of Gloucestershire and alternative pathways into health and care, such as T Levels & apprenticeships.
