Cassie was appointed her role at Princess Alexandra NHS Trust in November 2022, after recognition in developing quality improvement for Children & Young Peoples Mental Health within the Emergency Department, she was awarded the CNO Silver Award by Dame Ruth May DBE, Chief Nursing Officer, NHS England. The quality improvement project was featured in the We Can Talk 2023 impact report.
Prior to this award, Cassie was the Project Lead for We Can Talk in October 2021 Cohort. This has evolved and inspired her career and passion to improve services for children and young people and initiated her move from acute emergency care to mental health lead.
Cassie remains involved with We Can Talk and is a current Advisory Board Member.
