Alison was appointed as Chief Executive of Saint Mary’s Managed Clinical Service in October 2022, following her tenure as Interim CEO from April 2021. Prior to this she held the position of Director of Operations/ Deputy CEO at Saint Mary’s MCS and has worked at Manchester Foundation Trust since 2018.
Alison has worked within the NHS for her entire career, qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1989 and commenced her registered nursing career working as a Staff Nurse in Cardio Thoracic Operating Theatres at Wythenshawe Hospital.
During her career Alison has held a variety of senior positions encompassing both senior clinical and professional leadership and senior operational management roles.
Alison is passionate about developing others to build high performing teams and developing services to deliver safe, effective, sustainable, high-quality care with patient experience at the heart. Alison is committed to the delivery of compassionate and inclusive leadership, creating an environment in which all staff are supported to thrive. Alison is passionate about using her position to advocate for others and to create equity in opportunities for development to ensure everyone has a role in ensuring the success of Saint Mary’s Managed Clinical Service and the success of MFT.
