Fur-ther depth of experience in the UK primary care sector, managing the overall merger and acquisition of the larg-est primary care provider in UK by a US firm. Advises senior leaders and health system executives in the US and UK.
Alexis is passionate about transforming care delivery starting with relationship-based care models to improve sys-tems. She was on the founding team of the US-based organisation Iora Health where she designed and imple-mented the national strategy for support and integration of a relationship-based primary care model across 13 national markets. Alexis’ experience at Iora lends insight into transforming care by building a different kind of health system starting with accessible, high-impact, relationship-based, integrated primary care.
Alexis brings expertise in population health management and how to use this approach to align teams, technolo-gy, and incentives that drive value based care systems. She first joined Optum in September 2018 to support the design of the Population Health Management Development Programme and led delivery in the first wave of the programme before taking a year with Operose Health to support the integration with AT Medics.
Prior to Optum, Alexis worked for Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP) in North West London, supporting the Academic Health Science Network to become an integrator and providing insight on integrated care systems and principles of accountable care.
