Working with women and families to improve equity in maternity and neonatal care

13 Jun 2024
Charter 6
Best Practice Theatre , Quality, transformation and innovation

Listening to and working with women and families with compassion is the first of four key themes in the three-year delivery plan for maternity and neonatal services. It is a vital part of developing safer, more personalised and more equitable care for women, babies and families.

This session will explore actions being taken by services to innovate and transform to reduce inequalities. This includes compiling and analysing quality data to gain insight, providing women and families with personalised care and information and working with service users to reduce inequalities for all in access, experience and outcomes.
