The NHS met its ambition of having 10,000 virtual beds available by September 2023 ahead of target, enabling more patients to receive hospital-quality care in their own homes.

Systems have now been asked to ensure consistent utilisation of virtual wards, increasing the proportion of virtual ward beds accessed from home and maximising improvements for all patients.

This session will explore this next stage of virtual wards, focusing on how different specialties can best support for maximum impact on productivity and efficiency.
