Responsibility for commissioning some specialised services is being devolved to integrated care boards in the north west, east of England and the midlands from April 2024. The remaining ICBs will assume this responsibility in April 2025.

This session will explore
• the benefits and opportunities of delegation and greater integration
• what has changed and is changing going forward
• examples/case studies of how delegation is being used to improve quality equity and value
• lessons learned from delegation of other services
• how integrated care systems are setting up their governance arrangements.
