What is CPD?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) allows you to keep your mind active as you up-skill or re-skill at various events, conferences or workshops throughout your career. NHS ConfedExpo has offered CPD points to delegates for a number of years, and this year is no different. By attending NHS ConfedExpo, you can earn points that will contribute to your professional development.

Healthcare professionals tend to require a number of CPD points accumulated over a fixed period from various resources to show rounded development. These points contribute to your professional portfolio.

How to apply

Applying for a CPD certificate is simple. Every hour you attend NHS ConfedExpo, you earn one point towards your continued professional development.

1 hour = 1 point, therefore if you weren’t able to attend the whole conference, you can calculate how many points you have earned.

When sending your request, you will need to supply the following details:

  • Your full name
  • The company you work for
  • Your email address
  • How many hours you attended.

If you are unable to calculate the number of hours you have spent in sessions, theatres, or listening to keynotes simply let us know which day(s) you attended. We will then make an assessment based on how many times your badge was scanned to calculate how many hours you attended, and therefore how many points you will receive.

The deadline to request a CPD form is Friday 28 June, once completed the team at CPD should process the request within 28 days. If you have not received your certificate by Friday 9 August, please contact marketing@nhsconfed.org and we will look into this on your behalf.
