Susan joined Google Health after more than 15 years of consulting to the health and life sciences industry, most recently as a senior partner at Ernst & Young. Susan was educated at the University of Leeds and holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management before moving to Sydney to continue her training in geriatric medicine. Prior to joining the consulting world in 2008, Susan was a practicing physician in both the UK and Ireland, with a focus on geriatric care, particularly dementia care and its impact on physical health and rehabilitation. She’s worked across the NHS, focusing on improving quality, financial and operational performance, as well as supporting the NHS transition through the use of digital technologies.

At Google, Susan is the clinical lead with the Health AI team; she also oversees much of Google’s work into the NHS.
