Susan Thomas
Susan is Director for Google's work in health, based in the UK, and leads on work with health systems across Europe, leveraging Google's various products and services. She is Google's clinical lead for health-related AI work, and also leads our health work with enterprise customers. She joined Google 4 years ago after more than 15 years of consulting in the health and life sciences industry, most recently as a senior partner at Ernst & Young.
Prior to moving into consulting, Susan was a practicing physician in both the UK and Australia, where she undertook her training in medicine for the elderly.
During her time in consulting, Susan worked across the NHS, with a focus on improving clinical quality and operational performance - not least through the incorporation of digital technologies.
