Professor Sube Banerjee
Professor Sube Banerjee is Professor of Dementia and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. Clinically he works as an old age psychiatrist. His research focusses on quality of life and quality of care for those with dementia and their families. He was trained at St Thomas’, Guy’s and the Maudsley Hospitals, and was Professor of Mental Health and Ageing at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. Professor Banerjee served as the Department of Health’s senior professional advisor on dementia, leading the development and delivery of England’s first National Dementia Strategy.
