Nurse by background. Started in the NHS in 1991, have 32 years experience. Most of my clinical career, I have specialised in Cardiology and have a BA Hons Specialist Nurse Degree in Cardiology and Palliative Care. Nominated as Nurse on the board for NHS Southport and Formby Practice Based Commissioning group in 2009 and then re-nominated as Nurse on NHS Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Group in 2011. Led me to the start of my corporate nursing career in 2013 when I joined the CCG permanently as Cardiovascular Disease Lead, which I led in this position for the North West. In 2016, became Head of Urgent Care and Community Services for Sefton CCG's and have been heavily involved in the service development and commissioning of transformation within urgent and emergency care services which support system flow. I have a passion for quality and service transformation and strive ensure patients, carers and their experience are central to what I do.
