Ruth Rankine – Director Primary Care Network, NHS Confederation

Ruth Rankine has been the Director of the Primary Care Network at NHS Confederation since December 2019. Prior to that Ruth was Deputy Chief Inspector at the Care Quality Commission responsible for the regulation of general practice, online services and military health.

Ruth has a long career in the NHS, working in various leadership roles in the Department of Health as well as at a national, regional and local level across commissioning, operational delivery and service redesign.
