Robbie Huddleston

Dr Robbie Huddleston is the UK Medical Director of Sword Health, a role he assumed following Sword's acquisition of Surgery Hero in January 2025. He co-founded Surgery Hero in 2020 and served as its Chief Medical Officer.
Robbie’s career in healthcare began after graduating from Queen's University Belfast in 2014, followed by a move to London where he completed his foundation years before training in emergency medicine. His experience bridges clinical practice and digital health innovation, including a previous role as Clinical Safety Officer for Huma (formerly Medopad). A key focus of Robbie’s work is leveraging digital interventions to foster positive health behaviours.
