Dr Raffaella Roncone
Assistant Director and Head of Innovation and Enterprises,
Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare
MBA-awarded, degree and PhD in Chemistry, Raffaella has track record in evaluating innovative technologies and management of project portfolio. She leads the management of SBRI Healthcare and the NHS Cancer Programme, in close collaboration with NHS England. As Head of Innovation and Enterprise, Raffaella provides leadership across NHSE and NIHR Programmes on funders’ strategic aims and identifies opportunities to create supporting offering for entrepreneurs and innovators. She is responsible for overseeing the development of appropriate activities and initiatives for effective engagement with Small and Medium Enterprises, industry and the investment community.
