Qamer Yasin
Qamer Yasin is an experienced programme leader and coach, delivering corporate, strategic, and operational objectives/priorities in a political and business environment. She has 30 plus years of working experience in Local Government, specialising in improving front line services in social housing, homelessness and environmental health. Qamer is also, a non-executive director for a local housing association and been a volunteer at QA hospital for the past five years.
Qamer is experienced in providing positive leadership through ‘walking the talk’, motivating and supporting others and demonstrating professional integrity.
As Lead and Chair of Portsmouth and South East Hants Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (P&SE Hants MNVP), since 2021 Qamer has and continues to reach out to maternity service users from all backgrounds and cultures to ensure their voice is heard to improve services and experience. Qamer is especially interested in co-production opportunities whereby the service user needs are placed at the heart of procedure and process.

In her personal life, living close to the South Downs, Qamer is a keen walker/hiker, she is also a member of her local running group and more recently has joined her local bowling club.
