Dr Philippa Brice

Associate Director for Research and Impact, NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB

Pippa is Associate Director for Research and Impact at NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board, where the Research Office combines an NIHR-funded specialist R&D function for primary care, community and residential settings with NIHR research hosting and management, and wider strategic activity to maximise the system benefits of research, evidence and innovation. She is also a trustee of the national R&D Forum.

Before joining the NHS in 2023, Pippa was Deputy Director of the PHG Foundation, a policy think tank with the mission making science work for health, leading on external affairs and partnering in genomics, digital health and precision medicine. Experienced in biomedical policy development and knowledge brokering, she is also a long-standing advocate for research inclusion, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director of Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and Public & Patient Voice (PPV) representative on the Fetal, Child and Maternal Health expert group of the National Screening Committee.
