Dr Phil Moore
Phil Moore is an enthusiastic General Practitioner committed to using any opportunity to transform the NHS. He has held public roles in the NHS and beyond for many years and is an active proponent for the transformation of primary care to meet the demands of the twenty-first century.
Phil works nationally and London-wide to promote and develop mental wellbeing and mental health services. A passion is Thrive London, a social movement to improve mental wellbeing across the capital, with a particular interest in suicide prevention. His strong educational background is carried through to continuing to work on GP appraisal. He is a Visiting Fellow in Healthcare Management at Surrey University and is undertaking a PhD at Canterbury Christ Church University.
As a senior commissioner of health services for over 30 years, he brings drive for innovation and improvement particularly to mental health, cardiovascular disease and primary care. He retains a desire to improve primary care facilities through his role as a Public Sector Director for South London LIFT. He chairs two charitable organisations to extend his interests more widely.
