Pedro Delgado
Pedro Delgado, MSc, is Vice President at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) oversees IHI’s work across Europe. Based in the UK, he has played a key role in IHI’s global growth and impact, focusing on health system improvements such as supporting governments on national quality strategies; reducing C-sections, infections in Latin America as well as increasing 5 year survival rates for children with cancer; embedding continuous quality improvement across large organisations and improving patient safety in Europe, and more. He coaches senior leaders, lectures globally on large-scale change, is an instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Senior Atlantic Fellow on Health Equity. He sits on several advisory boards, including the Health Foundation’s Q Network.
