Nikki is the Programme Lead for Lipid Optimisation working as part of the CVD Programme Team at the AHSN NENC. Since 2020, she has worked with regional stakeholders to implement the national ‘Optimising Lipid Management and Identification of Familial Hypercholesterolaemia’ Programme at a local level. This has included developing resources for application of an innovative population health management approach and the implementation of the novel therapy Inclisiran into the AAC/NICE endorsed lipid management guideline, along with regionally created NEELI Guidelines.
Following a number of years spent practising clinically, Nikki joined the AHSN in July 2016 as project lead for AF detection on the national AF programme, presenting the multi award-winning work regionally and nationally at events such as Heart Rhythm Conference, NHS Expo, etc. and has provided expert commentary on the NICE Medtech Innovation Briefing for the mobile ECG device, AliveCor.
