Nicola Burgess is Reader in Operations Management at Warwick Business School. Nicola led the national evaluation of the NHS partnership with Virginia Mason Institute (2018-2021) and has extensive experience of healthcare based research, specializing in process improvement, patient safety, knowledge management and leadership. Nicola also serves in an advisory capacity on NHS development boards and has published her research in world-leading journals including J. of Operations Management, European Journal of Operations Research, Human Resource Management and British Medical Journal.
