Dr Nick de Pennington
Nick is the founder and CEO of Ufonia, a UK digital health company that has built a platform for accessible, autonomous telemedicine, currently being rolled out across 13 NHS Trusts. Ufonia’s autonomous clinical assistant is able to telephone patients and have a clinical conversation as an alternative to routine outpatient consultations. Prior to founding Ufonia Nick worked as the Innovation Lead at Oxford University Hospitals where he was one of the co-founders of The Hill, Oxford's healthcare innovation catalyst. He also led the implementation of digital population health solutions in Oxfordshire and was Clinical Lead of the Thames Valley & Surrey LHCRE. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, having completed training in neurosurgery with over 15 years frontline clinical experience.
