Naj trained as a doctor at Newcastle upon Tyne Medical school and worked in the NHS as a general physician and then haematologist for 15 years. Enjoying the continuity of long-term care that a small health and care team could provide patients with haematological conditions, led her into her current role in the life sciences sector in 2011.
As the medical lead for partnerships in the UK, Naj supports the NHS work in partnership with BI to develop and deliver innovative projects that aim to improve outcomes for patients and help the NHS explore new models of care.
