Nadia Malik
Nadia Malik is an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with over 13 years of expertise spanning primary care and community pharmacy. Currently working as a Practice Pharmacist at Queens Park Medical Centre, Nadia leads the prescribing team, driving quality improvement initiatives and supporting the management of long-term conditions, particularly diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Previously, Nadia worked as a Primary Care Network (PCN) Pharmacist in North Stockton, where she specialised in diabetes care, medication optimisation, and the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technologies. She also played a key role in developing coding strategies to improve the accuracy of CKD and T2D diagnosis in line with NICE and KDIGO guidelines.
A strong advocate for professional development, Nadia is the Diabetes Education Lead for the UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA) and co-founder of the TeesValley Diabetes Interest Group, fostering education and collaboration among healthcare professionals. She is also a regular speaker at national conferences and educational events.
Her published work includes articles on diabetes service development, medication shortages, and polypharmacy in cardio-renal-metabolic disease.
