Dr Mandy Dixon
Dr Mandy Dixon is Executive Lead for Corporate Engagement and Cluster Development at the Northern Health Science Alliance (NHSA), a health partnership of 24 leading research universities, NHS Teaching Trusts and Academic Health Science Networks across the North of England. The NHSA acts as a driver for investment into the health and life sciences sector, bringing together research & innovation collaborations and advocating for the North’s health system.
Mandy is responsible for the NHSA’s strategic connections with the private sector and also leads their Healthy Ageing and Mental Health programmes. She chairs the NHSA Northern Healthy Ageing Network, which includes a range of Canadian partners. The UK Canada AgeTech Innovation Exchange programme developed from these well established relationships.
Mandy has worked within the health & life sciences sector for over 25 years, with a career spanning the NHS, higher education and a number of business facing roles. She has a wealth of experience in bringing together industry, academia & the health sector to develop strategic partnerships & deliver successful collaborations & programmes.
