Lea Ashman
Lea Ashman a registered adult nurse with 24 years post qualification experience working in community, acute and CCG settings. In 2007 Lea qualified as a Specialist Practitioner District Nurse. Focused on providing a clinical and leadership perspective to quality, safety, service delivery and improvement programmes. Lea’s experience includes leading on transformation and change programmes, the collaboration and co design of services, testing new roles which cross organisational boundaries, and quality improvement projects. Lea has a particular interest in new models of care and the workforce needed to achieve these ensuring that staff have the right knowledge and skills to work to their full scope of practice offering clear career pathways and opportunities to be innovative. Lea is always trying to find ways to hear about the experiences of patients and their carers, and staff as this is the only way we can truly understand if we are meeting their health and well-being needs.
