Dr Kim Moore
Dr Kim Moore is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. She writes poetry and creative non-fiction. Her first poetry collection 'The Art of Falling' (Seren, 2015) won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, and her most recent poetry collection 'All the Men I Never Married (Seren, 2022) won the 2022 Forward Prize for Best Collection.
She was awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s Bursary in 2016 to carry out PhD research at Manchester Metropolitan University, and completed her doctorate in ‘Poetry and Everyday Sexism’ at Manchester Metropolitan University in March 2020.
She has been a judge of the National Poetry Competition and the Forward Prizes and her work has ben translated into many languages.
She is currently Writer-in-Residence, which is supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, at Trafford General Hospital as part of 'Untold Stories of the NHS.'
