Jonathan started out his career in 2007 as a physiotherapist in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in NHS in Wales, working across wide range of clinical specialities. Specialising in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and developing an interest in public health led Jonathan to spend the later phases of his clinical career developing health promotion services through quality improvement approaches at a health board and national level.

In 2020 Jonathan transitioned into a innovation role at a Life Sciences Hub Wales as a health and care engagement manager and then Value Based Health care project lead working on multi-stakeholder projects in collaboration with health, care and industry.

In 2022 Jonathan moved in to his current national role with the Welsh robotics surgery programme where he coordinates and supports the programme partners to implement and realise the benefits of rolling out a multi speciality robotic surgery health board programme.

Jonathan lives in Cardiff in South Wales with his family and enjoys cycling and competing at middle distance triathlons.
