John Bolton is a former visiting Professor at Oxford Brooke’s University and has worked extensively across the United Kingdom supporting systems develop their support for older people being discharged from hospital. John has worked as an independent consultant for over a decade prior to that he was Strategic Finance Director at the Department of Health. He has a long and distinguished career in social care which led to him being awarded an OBE in 2022.
