I am the Executive Director, Adults & Health in the London Borough of Camden (statutory DASS) and the President of ADASS (Association of Directors of Adult Social Services). I live and work in London, and have worked in a variety of roles, often joint across Health, Housing and Social Care. My route into Adult Social Care was via integrated commissioning. I have had a particular interest in social justice and multiple disadvantage throughout my career from work in homelessness, drug and alcohol treatment, prison health & care and now in social care. I was Co-Chair of the National Care & Justice network for the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) for a number of years.
