Jane has worked in the NHS for more than 25 years in roles principally related to Public Health. Jane is a registered Public Health Specialist with the UKPHR and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health. Jane is experienced in all pillars of public health and has sought to apply her public health skills, knowledge and experience in roles that stretch beyond public health.
She is experienced in system leadership having working across the North West Region and specifically in the Lancashire and South Cumbria system where she now holds a leadership role. She has had a varied portfolio from commissioning public health screening and immunisation programmes and improving uptake and coverage to supporting the development of the 3 Integrated Care Systems across the North West to become statutory organisations.
Jane is proud of her system leadership, which was tested during the recent COVID pandemic, and works to bring partners across the system together, creating a shared vision and collaborate to improve outcomes for patients and citizens and is currently supporting the development of the Integrated Care Partnership and developing robust partnership arrangements with the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector.
