Jacynth Ivey MBE is a transformational leader and respected NHS Non-Executive Director with a compelling track record of advancing race equity, workforce wellbeing, and inclusive patient outcomes. Recognised in the King’s Honours List for her services to leadership and diversity, Jacynth was awarded an MBE for her enduring commitment to equity and systems transformation.
Currently serving as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the People & Culture Committee, Jacynth leads on workforce and health inequalities, amplifying marginalised voices, challenging inequities, and shaping compassionate, future-ready strategies within the NHS. She is also a valued member of the NHS RHO (Race and Health Observatory) Stakeholder Engagement Group, ensuring the lived experiences of underrepresented communities inform national policy and practice.
With a clinical foundation and over 20 years of senior leadership across health, social care, and business, she brings a nuanced and courageous voice to workforce transformation, inclusive leadership, and cultural change.
