As deputy director of policy, Ilse leads NHS Confederation's strategic policy team, programme managing the NHS Confederation's cross-organisational policy work. Before her time at the NHS Confederation, Ilse was a senior policy adviser in the Cabinet Office where she delivered cross-government projects, including on health matters. Prior to that, Ilse worked in management consulting, including for Deloitte, where she worked with various health sector organisations on major transformation projects, including around delivering integrated care, frontline transformation of services and systems-wide population health.
