Iain leads Google Cloud’s Public Sector business in the UK and Ireland, encompassing all elements of the sector, from No.10 through central departments and functions, arms length bodies and into Integrated Care Boards, individual trusts, local authorities, charities and housing associations.

He is passionate about bringing the innovation and scale of Google to help the UK and Irish governments improve the lives of their people, protect them from harm and support those more vulnerable than ourselves.

Prior to joining Google Iain spent over 20 years working for EY (Ernst & Young) in many roles including leading the Public Sector. Prior to that he worked in the global defence sector as an Aerospace Engineer and finally as Vice President, Middle East for BAE Systems. Iain has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from Henley Management College. He is married to Rachel and they have a daughter and a Border Terrier (basically another daughter…).
