Henry qualified in medicine from UCL in 1997 and has been a consultant at MFT (Manchester Foundation Trust) since 2009 having competed specialist training in the North West of England in Emergency and Intensive Care medicine.
Digital health has always been a key area of interest for Henry, and he has completed the NHS Digital academy leadership programme (cohort #2).
He has had several digital leadership roles and has led on several digital implementations the most recently was part of the senior leadership team which successfully implemented Epic at MFT in 2022 Europe’s biggest go-live at the time.
His areas of interests are unified communications, optimisation of implementation of AI at the medical frontline, and tackling health inequalities using digital solutions at a national and global level.
