Harriet is the Workstream Lead for the Accelerated Access Collaborative at Yorkshire and Humber AHSN. She is leading nationally on the spread and scale of Spectra Optia, a technology which helps treat sickle cell disease suffers. She chairs a National Working Group which enables national stakeholders to oversee the submission of cost effective business cases which will lead to greater access to automated treatment options for patients across the NHS. Harriet managers multiple projects involving addressing inequalities in healthcare and how the NHS can better engage with underserved communities. Before working at the AHSN, Harriet ran a risk management and quality improvement consultancy, worked internationally as a healthcare quality inspector and as a specialist advisor for the CQC.
