Gina Sargeant
Gina first became passionate about Clinical and Care Professional Leadership (CCPL) as the Allied Health Professional representative member of the CCPL Steering Group for the Framework document - Building strong integrated care systems everywhere, and sees CCPL representing a vital new way of working and leadership opportunity for all health and care colleagues.
Currently working in the South West in 2 part time roles, one System - in Banes, Swindon & Wilts ICS, as a Health and Care Professional Leadership Director and one Regional - as Regional Chief AHP for NHSE SW and in both very much an advocate for the power of the widest multi disciplinary team, ensuring both registered and support colleagues alike.
Gina is a Physiotherapist, having been both clinical and professional lead, previously working in a variety of settings, specialising in Neurological Rehabilitation and Recovery from Traumatic Brain Injury.
Qualifying in 1994, next year sees 30 years in the NHS, a BSc (Hons 1st) Physiotherapy, PGC Bobath Concept in Neurological Physiotherapy, Kings Fund TMP (Cohort 33) and most recently an MBA Organisational Leadership (merit) through the NHS Apprenticeship scheme.
A supporter of the power of networking and social movement Gina has been a member of the Academy of Fabulous Stuff for NHS and Social Care for the last 10 years.
