George Reid
I have worked in the NHS since 2018. Prior to that I served in the Army, the police, Coached rugby for the Irish Rugby Football Union and Ulster, taught Public Services at FE colleges and even worked as a doorman in my spare time!
Training and coaching is my passion, and I have been doing it in one form or another for over 30 years, working with leaders, elite athletes and young adults.
I have a wealth of experience in training development and do my best to help others achieve what they never believed was possible.
I have worked as a Violence Prevention Reduction Lead for the past 5 years and really enjoy helping and supporting colleagues and helping to keep them safe through training and initiatives to help them learn and keep themselves safe.
I use my personal experiences with ACEs and Trauma to better understand how to recognise traits and behaviours to ask the question, 'What's happened to you? rather than What's wrong with you?' to help devise and develop better and more effective training for those on the front-line and in patient/personal care.
