Emma Leatherbarrow
With a strong commitment to social justice, Emma is committed to putting the voices of those least likely to be heard at the heart of decision making, ensuring this influences and impacts the quality of public services. She has over 20 years of senior experience within local government, the voluntary sector and now the NHS with a focus on strategy, analysis and collaboration.
Previous roles include leading multiple Healthwatch services across south central England, developing strategic, cross sectoral partnerships to generate improved outcomes and transforming services, including for children and families and domestic abuse survivors. Her current role with the Wessex Cancer Alliance is focused on tackling the significant inequalities in cancer care access, experience and outcomes, working closely with people and communities as well as NHS and voluntary sector partners.
