Ed is part of the secretariat to the Specialised Healthcare Alliance (SHCA), a coalition of more than 100 charities and corporate supporters, which campaigns on behalf of people with rare and complex conditions. The SHCA has engaged extensively with NHS England on delegation, with a focus on patient and public involvement
